FESTIVITY OF BASANT

Image
Hello all, Festivals are meant to give pleasure to people. They are not only a source of enjoyment but also create a positive image of a nation. They also promote the culture, food, and traditions of the natives. In modern times, festivals have also become a source of business promotion, whether it is on a town level or at an international exhibition. I opened my eyes to Lahore city, where “Basant” was one of the most popular festivals of the spring season. “Basant” is a festival that has been celebrated in the subcontinent, especially Punjab, for a long time. It was celebrated to welcome the lively spring, which brings back life to nature. This time, when the blowing breeze blooms with the fragrance of flowers, there are colors spread everywhere on the ground. Young hearts would warm up and want to color the sky as well. HAPPINESS- SPREAD THE COLORS ARROUND

Image
Hello all, Happiness and enjoyment never come from an outer source; they are within us. If we are light in mood, we are happy, and if we are heavy, then it is sadness. Sometimes we are between both moods, and that is seriousness. All moods carry with them different feelings, and everyone loves to live within one’s comfort zone, but happiness is a step ahead. It brings a way to flourish in our life. It introduces us to the brighter side of our life. Many people love to wander around, some watch TV, and many gossip. Few like relaxing in a separate place with a cup of coffee or a drink in their hand, while some others would turn the music on, hit the woofers, pick up the pace themselves, and force others to dance along too. Everybody has his own perspective towards life. The versatility of life...

SUPERSTITION

Hello all, According to many readings and scientific studies, our illusions are due to some disorder in mental chemical levels. We overthink a lot and make up our minds according to what we think often. These kinds of beliefs are very common in our daily routine. These are called superstitions and vary from area to area. Many times, they have no similarity between them, but the purpose is the same: "superstition". Another reason for these superstitions is that many clever and manipulative people spread their self-created myths among simple and illiterate people and influence them to believe them.  The worst I ever read was in stories where men or women were being burnt due to the belief that the victims were involved in witchcraft. It was a common way to take revenge on somebody.  In the sub-continent, there are many superstitions believed to be true; actually, those are not, because we do not have any concrete argument for their validity. Here I want to mention a...
